KoiPondFever.com stocks almost everything that we sell from our website with the exception of pond liners and underlay, which is shipped direct from the manufacturer. On the rare occasion the item is out of stock you will be informed of the product availability and the approximate date of arrival. Most orders recieve by 1:00 PM Central Time will be shipped on the same business day via UPS Ground or FedEx and will arrive in 2-4 business days. You will recieve confirmation of shipping and a tracking number by email.
Live Koi will be shipped UPS Next Day Air to insure the health of the koi. The fish are double bagged and shipped in ample water and the bag filled with pure oxygen. Cold packs may be added to keep the fish from overheating during transportation. Customers can stipulate the arrival day in the comments section of the shopping cart. Someone must be present to take delivery of live koi.
Live plants are shipped on Monday and Tuesday to insure that the order is delivered before the weekend.
Large items weighing over 150 pounds will be shipped by freight truck and residential deliveries are available at the same low price. Freight companies do require that someone be present for delivery. They use large, 40' long semi trucks so your location must be easily accessible for the truck to make the delivery and turn around. Off-loading your package from the truck is your responsibility, although sometimes the driver will assist you. Under no circumstances will KoiPondFever.com be held liable for unloading your product or additional delivery charges incurred if your ship-to address is inaccessible to the delivery truck.
KoiPondFever.com will help coordinate delivery time with the shipping companies. KoiPondFever.com cannot guarantee delivery times and will not be held responsible for costs associated with delayed product delivery, including but not limited to labor stand-by charges or equipment rental.
